Rhema International Academy is more than a school — it is a vision birthed from passion, purpose, and faith. Located in Ganaja New Layout, Lokoja, Kogi State, the school was founded on September 15, 2015, by Mr. John Ojonugwa Salifu and Mrs. Mary Salifu, both seasoned professionals in education, business, and administration. From just 17 students and 6 staff, Rhema has grown into a thriving academic community serving over 360 learners across Creche to Senior Secondary levels.
The journey of Rhema International Academy began with a burden to provide high-quality, faith-based education in Lokoja — a city where options for such were limited in 2007. The founders envisioned a school where academic distinction would go hand-in-hand with moral discipline, strong character, and godly upbringing. Today, that vision lives on in every classroom, every student, and every life touched by Rhema.

Rhema’s physical growth mirrors its vision: from six to eighteen classrooms, with more under development on a now-expanded 4,500 sqm campus. Our facilities include well-equipped classrooms, ICT and science labs, creative spaces, and serene surroundings. Yet, it is our unwavering commitment to values — discipline, integrity, and spiritual growth — that truly sets us apart.
